What if EFOPPRIMES was told to me?

History:

On the occasion of the organization of the 5th Franco-speaking Games by Niger in 2005, shortcomings were noted within the Auxiliaries of the Defense and Security Forces which constituted the private security companies. This prompted reflection on the need to create a professional education framework for the benefit of said companies.

The outcome of the reflection was the creation and opening of the Private Vocational Training School for Security Professions “EFOPPRIMES”, respectively, by Decree of creation No. 00053 / MFP / E / SG / DGEF / Q / DPEFPP of July 10, 2012, and by Opening Decree No. 00082 / MFP / E / SG / DGEF / Q / DPEFPP of September 4, 2012.

It is the only establishment, in its specificity, in Niger and in the Sub-Region. It operates under the dual supervision of the Ministry of the Interior, Public Security, Decentralization and Customary and Religious Affairs and that of Vocational and Technical Education.

Its site is the Capitaine Hassane Diallo Amadou Campus, 996 Boulevard Mali Béro, opposite the Concorde Pharmacy, opposite the old Sikièye station. Website: www.efopprimes.com

Like many schools and other institutions, the name of the site was brought to honor the memory of the late Captain Hassane Diallo Amadou, one of the first officers who left his mark on the Nigerien Army.

Goal :

The main objective that guided its creation was the firm commitment of its Founder, Mr. Yacine Hassane Diallo, to make Private Security a professional, reliable partner, with experienced staff, able to give full satisfaction, wherever their skills would be. requested.

The School provides initial and continuing training and organizes seminars. Through its training courses intended mainly for young Nigeriens seeking employment, the School supports the State in its policy of job creation for the benefit of the youth.

A view of the members of the Academic Council in 2017

SPECIFICITY: EFOPPRIMES has an Academic Council made up of all SDF players as well as research professors. These determine the content of the training courses as well as the academic policy.

-Teaching includes the following Sections:

• Fire Safety;
• Security Administration;
• Safe Driving);
• Prevention and First Aid;
• The Protocol Escort;
• Video surveillance.
• And many modules, at the request of the Partners.

To date, the School has trained thousands of Learners and Students, subjects of several promotions dedicated to the various institutions of the Republic (Presidency of the Republic, Prime Minister, Ministry of the Interior and Security, Ministry of Training Professional …) as well as staff from several national and international institutions, public and private, as well as individuals.

Despite a difficult global economic and security context, EFOPPRIMES continues its continuing education activities, thanks to the confidence that it is constantly shown.

Thus, after training for several Agents of Enabel IRC, of the Swiss Cooperation Office, of the international NGOs GOAL and HELP, it is the Security Agents of PRACC (Ministry of PLAN) who are currently in training.

We can mention, among others, two Training Sessions:

 Safe Driving
 And Basic Security Guard Training.

a) Safe Driving training which aims to equip beneficiaries on:

  • The Basic Rules of Safe Driving;
  • Safety when moving vehicles, in hostile zones;
  • Behavior: at legal or illegal checkpoints; in the face of peaceful or violent demonstrations; facing a robbery, kidnapping;
  • First Aid Actions (level 1);
  • Radio and Security Communication Techniques;
  • the Rules of Preventive, offensive and defensive conduct, on various terrains: asphalt, sandy and rocky;
  • the Threat of Improvised Explosive Devices;
  • Driving by GPS;
  • Cartography ;
  • Preventive measures against the Covid 19 pandemic.

b) Basic Security Guard Training which aims to equip Beneficiaries on:

  • Safety Prevention;
  • The Code of Conduct (including the Penal Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure and the behavioral aspect);
  • Self Defense;
  • First Aid;
  • Fire Safety.

At the end of the training, the beneficiaries will see their operational capacities strengthened, which is a plus for them, for their Employers, as well as for the citizens.

At the end of the Training, Certificates are issued to them. Taking advantage of this opportunity, EFOPPRIMES once again underlines its availability to serve all Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), National and International and public or private institutions, as well as citizens who feel the need. This necessity, linked to this particular context, imposes a strengthening of the operational capacities of all actors outside the State.
